The La Mirada City Council and La Mirada Redevelopment
Agency hold their regular meetings concurrently. Following appearances, presentations, proclamations or
appointments, any public hearings scheduled by either the City Council or
Agency will be held. At the
conclusion of public hearings, the Redevelopment Agency will conduct its
scheduled business. Items for City
Council consideration will commence following the Redevelopment Agency portion
of the Agenda. In compliance with
the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you need special assistance to participate
in a City meeting or other services offered by this City, please call (562)
943-0131 and contact the City ClerkÕs office or the Personnel Department. Notification at least 48 hours prior to
the meeting or time when services are needed will assist the City staff in
assuring that reasonable arrangements can be made to provide accessibility to
the meeting or service.
All cell phones, pagers and other audible
electronic devices should be in their off or silent position while the meeting
is in session.
To address the Council on
an Agenda item other than a Public Hearing or during Public Comments, please
fill out a ÒRequest to address CouncilÓ card and place in the container before
the start of meeting or as soon as possible after the meeting starts.

I. RECOGNITION
OF PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS – It is
recommended CITY COUNCIL recognize the winners and that the Mayor make the
appropriate presentations.
II. PROCLAMATION
– NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK APRIL 15 – 21, 2007 – It is recommended CITY COUNCIL proclaim the week of April 15
through April 21, 2007 as National Library Week in the City of La Mirada.

1. ORDINANCE
NO. 610 (FIRST READING) AMENDING
CERTAIN TIME LIMITATIONS FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR THE LA MIRADA
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY PROJECT AREA NUMBERS. 1, 2 AND 3 – It is recommended CITY COUNCIL
conduct a public
hearing and accept for first reading Ordinance 610 extending certain time
limitations to the Redevelopment Plans for Project Area Numbers 1, 2, and 3 by
title only and waive further reading.
2. ORDINANCE NO. 609 – AN EXTENSION OF INTERIM ORDINANCE NO. 600 A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM PROHIBITING THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES – It is recommended CITY COUNCIL conduct a Public Hearing as prescribed by law, and adopt Ordinance No. 609 approving an extension to Interim Ordinance No. 600 for a temporary moratorium on the establishment and operation of medical marijuana dispensaries in the City of La Mirada.

3. MEETING MINUTES - It is recommended AGENCY approve the minutes of the regular meeting of March 27, 2007 and the study session meeting of April 3, 2007.
4. It is recommended AGENCY approve the warrant register dated April 4, 2007 in
the total amount of $1,207.96.

6. It is recommended CITY COUNCIL approve the warrant register
dated April 4, 2007 in the total amount of $414,433.44.
