David Lawrence was born and raised in La Mirada, California. He graduated from La Mirada High School in 1993 and ten went on to earn a BA in Political Science from UCLA in 1999. David joined the US Marine Corp in January 2000/ He completed Office Candidate School, the Basic School, Aviation Preflight Indoctrination and Primary Flight Training respectively. David selected jets and attended Advanced Strike Flight Training with VT-22 at Naval Air Station, Kingsville, Texas. He graduated in October 2002 and earned his “wings of gold”. As a Naval Aviator, he received orders to fly AV-8B Harriers with VMAT 203 at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point. He currently resides in New Bern, North Carolina.
