La Mirada Business Recognized for 30 Years of Service
The La Mirada City Council recognized Home Depot for its 30-year anniversary, its history of industry excellence, leadership, and community involvement.
Home Depot opened its La Mirada store in October 21, 1987 and remains a vital part of the community. It provides products and services, and most importantly jobs in the community. In keeping with the company’s value of giving back to communities and worthwhile causes, the La Mirada Home Depot has become a model business for giving time, talents, and energy. They have also supported a number of programs and community events including Spring Beautification, Love La Mirada, and Foster Park Neighborhood Improvements.
The City of La Mirada Business Recognition Program highlights local businesses and honors their achievements. Businesses are recognized for demonstrating significant community involvement, celebrating anniversary milestones, and other special achievements unique to their industry.
