Steve Lee Appointed to the Community Services Commission
The City Council recently appointed Steve Lee to the Community Services Commission. Mr. Lee has been a La Mirada resident since 2014, and is a business owner and financial advisor. He has over 20 years of experience in finance and has assumed several managerial and leadership roles during his career. Mr. Lee was interviewed by the City Council at its Study Session meeting on Tuesday, February 13.
The City’s advisory members serve as an important part of the City’s policy-making process. They are appointed by the City Council and are responsible for performing studies on municipal issues and rendering opinions and advice to the City Council, as well as providing input on community goals. La Mirada has seven advisory bodies including the Community Services Commission, Planning Commission, Public Safety Commission, Historical Preservation Advisory Council, Senior Council, Youth Council, and the La Mirada Community Foundation.
