Center
The La Mirada Redevelopment
Agency played an active role in transforming the former 70-acre Outlet Mall
into a mixed-use development with 300,000-square-feet of commercial/retail space
on 36 acres and 237 single-family residences on 34 acres. Tenants include: La
Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, Albertsons, Sav-On Drugs, La Fitness,
Toy R Us, Sizzler Restaurant, and a multi-screen movie theatre. Read

Green Hills Center
This modern shopping
center is in a highly visible location along the Imperial Highway Corridor.
The Redevelopment Agency worked closely with the developer to create an attractive
neighborhood center. Approximately 54,000 vehicles per day pass the center at
the intersection of Imperial Highway and Santa Gertrudes Avenue. Read

Breezewood
Village
The La Mirada Redevelopment
Agency, in partnership with Thomas Safran & Associates constructed a 120-unit
senior apartment complex consisting of 20 craftsman style one and two-story
buildings in a garden courtyard arrangement. The Agency partnered with the developer
through the use of the Agency's 20% Set-Aside Funds. Agency funds assisted with
land acquisition, tenant relocation, and building demolition. Read

Gateway Center
The 29-acre mixed-use
project is a freeway oriented business center featuring hotels, upscale restaurants,
multi-level office buildings, and commercial uses. Agency participation consisted
of purchasing 20-acres of the land, reselling it to a developer, and providing
a 5% bed tax rebate to the Holiday Inn. Read more

Park
The La Mirada Redevelopment
Agency worked with Ford Motor Land Development Corporation and Catellus Development
to develop a modern 87-acre business park for light industrial and warehouse
distribution uses. Tenants include: US Foodservice, Nationwide Papers, Shaw
Carpet, Delta Plastics, Beaulieu Carpet, and Bralco Metals. Read

Center
This 40-acre master planned
business park contains 800,000-square-feet of light industrial/corporate office
space by Hayes Development Company. The La Mirada Redevelopment Agency participated
