Notice Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 Rehabilitation Act of 1973

Public Comments for Transition Plan
The City of La Mirada provides opportunities for interested persons, including individuals with disabilities, or organizations representing individuals with disabilities, to participate in the review of the ADA Transition Plan and Self Evaluation by submitting comments and making specific recommendations. All comments should be received by the ADA/Section 504 Coordinator by no later than Monday, July 31, 2017.
Complaint and Grievance Policy and Procedures
The City of La Mirada has adopted a formal complaint and grievance policy and grievance form for prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging concerns, complaints or requests for access to City programs. The City’s Complaint and Grievance Policy and Grievance Form are provided below. Grievances can be submitted to the ADA/Section 504 Coordinator.
