City Administration consists of the City Manager and Assistant City Manager, the City Clerk's office and Personnel. The City Manager is responsible for directing all municipal activities and operations of the City. Additionally, with the support of the Assistant City Manager/Director of Community Development, the City Manager submits the annual budget to the City Council and advises the Council of the financial condition and needs of the City. The Assistant City Manager is responsible for the operations of the City in the absence of the City Manager and oversees the community development functions of planning, redevelopment, and affordable housing.

The role of the City Clerk's office is to prepare council agendas, maintain the City's filing system and coordinate municipal elections.
