La Mirada Resource Center

A variety of services are available to La Mirada residents at the new Resource Center. The City provides services and classes for all ages in the areas of dance (see dance room), exercise, crafts, education, and special programs. The center houses a Computer Lab, a Family Resource Center, the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce office, and Straight Talk Counseling. The lower floor of the building also houses the La Mirada Community Sheriff's Station.

La Mirada Activity Center

The new La Mirada Activity Center for Seniors, Adults and Youth offers a range of facilities for the enjoyment of local residents.  A large multipurpose room seating approximately 300 persons is available for nutrition programs, group functions and rentals.  The first floor also features a kitchen, billiard room, ceramics area, nurse's station, offices and conference room.  The second floor offers a large library/reading area, SeniorNet computer facility, meeting rooms, game room, and media room.  The Center also houses the Meals on Wheels offices.
