The Administrative Services Department is responsible for overseeing the City and Successor Agency to the La Mirada Redevelopment Agency’s financial operations and Human Resources functions including employee evaluations, compensation, and benefits. Administrative Services manages the City and Agency’s investment portfolio, coordinates the preparation of the annual budget, and administers the business license function. In addition, Administrative Services is responsible for completing the annual independent audit, preparing the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and filing numerous required reports with other governmental agencies. The department also provides the City’s risk management function and manages the information technology agreement.
