Obtaining a Recreation and/or Aquatics Certificates
The City's recreation positions require applicants to provide CPR and First Aide certificates at time of appointment. Aquatics positions require applicants to show proof of valid certificates or proof of enrollment in courses to obtain required certifications. Required aquatics certifications depend on job positions, please see job flyers for details. Applicants must possess all required certifications by start date.
Certifications may only be in the form of a certifications card. Certification cards should have the following information from a qualified certification agency:
1. Applicant's Name.
2. Name of the issuing agency.
3. Expiration date of card.
Note: Online/Internet certificates will not be accepted.
