Throughout its history, La Mirada’s Spring Beautification Program has recognized homeowners, schools, and business owners who work to enhance and preserve the beauty of the community. Spring Beautification recognizes property owners who have achieved a measure of excellence in the exterior maintenance and landscaping. By recognizing efforts of property owners in the City’s residential and business communities, this program reinforces the spirit of neighborhood pride, which is the foundation of a well-kept community.
Selected properties will be recognized in one of three categories: Most Outstanding, Most Improved, and Honoree. Award recipients will be honored at a reception hosted by the City Council at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts on Monday, May 11, 2009.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Spring Beautification Program’s “Most Improved” category. Nomination forms are available at all City facilities. All nominations must be submitted by Monday, March 16, 2009 to the La Mirada Resource Center located at 13710 La Mirada Boulevard, La Mirada, California 90638. Click here for a Nomination Form.
