Staff Sergeant Maldonado graduated in 1993 from La Mirada High School. He then joined the Army in 1993. Maldonado has served in Panama, Kentucky, Indiana, Virginia, Montana, Utah and Washington. This is his second deployment since September 11. He is currently in the Sinai Peninsula on the Israeli-Egyptian-Palestinian Border: HQ, 3-160th Infantry (M), Unit 31530 APO, AE 09833.
