Construction Ends Winter 2025-26
Funding Source: Gas Tax & Prop C
Budget: $600,000
Background: Asphalt concrete pavement used for roadways and parking lots is one of the City’s largest assets. Regular pavement maintenance is required in order to achieve the full, useful life of the pavement. Slurry sealing the pavement is an effective preventive maintenance strategy. The slurry seal coating provides a protective layer and wearing course for the original pavement structure.
Valley View Avenue from Rosecrans Avenue to 330 feet south of Alondra Boulevard and northbound lanes from Park Place to Artesia Boulevard are now due for a slurry seal pavement maintenance application.

This project includes the application of slurry seal and replacement of pavement legends and striping.
